VP / Director / Sales Manager Based on Experience

Clear Comfort offers the leading water treatment solutions for controlled environment agriculture (CEA) facilities, revolutionizing the way water is treated and ensuring optimal growing conditions for crops. With our headquarters and manufacturing base in Colorado, we are committed to sustainable and non-toxic water solutions.

Clear Comfort Water is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our executive team as the head of Sales and Business Development for our horticulture and indoor agriculture line of business. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our market presence, expanding our customer base, and driving revenue growth. We are looking for someone with a strong background in sales and business development, specifically within the controlled environment agriculture industry.

As our Sales & Business Dev (VP/Director/Manager), you will:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration within the controlled environment agriculture sector.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry, including CEA facility owners, operators, and consultants.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials to support sales efforts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and operations, to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to the executive team.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the horticulture and indoor agriculture market.

As our Sales & Business Dev (VP/Director/Manager), you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably within the controlled environment agriculture industry.
  • Strong understanding of the horticulture and indoor agriculture market, including customer needs, pain points, and industry dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing sales teams.
  • Results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
